The Village Orchard East CIC is a not for profit organisation based in East Anglia.
We are a trauma responsive organisation, with a goal of providing personalised mental health support through one to one therapy sessions and group work.
Our services aim to support those who have been turned away from or are unable to access mental health support through other services. There may be a number of reasons this has happened, but we believe everybody deserves access to the support they need. For those who have been unable to access support due to financial limitations, we can discuss how we can support you regardless of these difficulties. Our services are open to children, young people, adults, and families. Our work aims to reduce the strain on statutory services and charitable organisations who are already under-funded or running over capacity.
Alongside two of our directors, we have a community of volunteers, students and self-employed mental health practitioners who provide this support through one to one psychological interventions and group work. The Village Orchard spends a large amount of time nurturing connections with others as we are huge believers in Community over Competition and consider much can be gained from connecting with people. We also have creative partnerships with professional services and other agencies, such as our inclusion on the Norfolk County Council Providers List or through community connection with local and national charities, schools, organisations, the NHS, and local councils.
We are based in Norwich but can provide support in a growing number of places, including the Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth areas.
