Due to overwhelming demand for our services, The Village Orchard East have made the difficult decision to close to new referrals for a period of time.
An announcement will be made on this website when we are able to accept referrals again.
Thank you for your patience, if you are struggling and need someone to talk to, please reach out to The Samaritans who are available 24 hours a day on phone number 116 123.
The Village Orchard East CIC is a not for profit organisation based in East Anglia.
We are a trauma responsive organisation, with a goal of providing personalised mental health support, through one to one therapy sessions and group work.
The Village Orchard opened in October 2019 with an aim to support anyone wishing to access trauma responsive, mental health support.
Including those who have been turned away from, or unable to access the help they need elsewhere.
We know people can face a number of barriers when trying to find help, but we believe everybody deserves access to the psychological support they need, that it is suited to them and at a price they can afford. We offer sliding scale fees for our sessions, meaning those able to pay full price for their sessions are 'Paying it Forward' to allow someone with financial limitations to access high-quality, trauma responsive psychological support.
Our team of independent practitioners, volunteers and students provide this support through one to one psychological interventions and group work.
The services we offer are open to children, young people, adults, and families. We are also able to create bespoke psychological support packages for schools, groups and organisations.
The Village Orchard nurtures connections with many other organisations, as we are huge believers in Community over Competition. We know much can be gained from connecting with people.
We have creative partnerships with professional services and other agencies, local and national charities, schools, organisations, the NHS, and local councils.
We also rent rooms to mental health professionals, individuals, and organisations to hold sessions, groups, workshops, and meetings. Our aim is to create a supportive, welcoming environment and provide possibilities to people that share our values.
Our work aims to reduce the strain on statutory services and charitable organisations who are already under-funded or running over capacity.
